• Salary (plus inclusion in NHS Pension Scheme) £22 – £27K, depending on relevant experience
• Hours – ideally full time but fewer hours considered (minimum 22.5 hours)
• Job share/some home working considered
Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, patient-focused, and motivated individual to join our existing pharmacist team to provide quality patient-care. We need a person with energy and interest to develop this role through collaborative working.
This is a new and developing role taking advantage of the NHS Network Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme. We welcome interest from both experienced applicants and newly qualified individuals.
The successful candidate will be working at both of our Practices, with projects ranging from dealing with prescription requests, cost-saving switches to facilitating medication reviews and systems and process improvements. You will be contributing to the overall medicines optimisation programme, acting on best practice from local and national guidelines.
About us
We are made up of two surgeries, the Park Surgery in Cirencester and the Lechlade Medical Centre, and we have a combined patient list of 12,500. We are a team of 5 partners, 6 salaried GPs, Practice Manager and 2 Deputy Practice Managers, an ANP, nurses, HCAs, pharmacists and an excellent administrative team.
We pride ourselves in providing excellent patient centred care, continuous service improvement and a team-based approach. Care, compassion, team working and humour are very important to us. We received a “Good” in the CQC inspection in 2019 and we are a training practice.
Cirencester and Lechlade are steeped in history and are based in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We have good transport links and are near to the M4, M5 and A420 for travel from Oxford, Swindon, Birmingham or Bristol and the local train stations are based at Kemble and Oxford. There are outstanding schools within the area and a wide variety of housing options available.

You must be a Pharmacy Technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
A full driving license is required as travel will be required to the surgeries and care homes
