Osteopathy has been available at the Lechlade Medical Centre for many years. The Osteopathic Clinic is a private clinic operating within the Medical Centre.
Osteopapthy offers a hands on approach to treating and managing a range of musculoskeletal conditions such as neck and back pain, headaches associated with neck problems, hip and knee pain, joint pain, muscle tension, repetitive strain injuries, sciatica, shoulder pain and sports injuries.

Marianne Bennison graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in 1989. She worked for two years in a sports injury clinic in Newcastle and Darlington and between 1991 and 1992, subsequently, she set up a successful osteopathic clinic in Middlesborough. In 1996 Marianne set up the Lechlade Osteopathic Clinic, this clinic expanded to include the Faringdon Clinic which she set up with her colleagues Mary O'Leary and James Wilson. She also lectures abroad to post graduate physiotherapists and osteopaths and works as an external examiner. Since 2003 Marianne has divided her time between the Faringdon Clinic and Oxford Brookes University, where she is a senior lecturer on the osteopathy programme. Marianne's special interests include the elderly, sports injuries and chronic long term pain.
